Jn August we will be celebrating the first harvest by honoring Frey. The
second weekend of September we will be observing Winterfinding, a
celebration of the mid-harvest season. In our kindred we honor the
goddesses Idunna and Sif as we contemplate the transition toward our
indoor stores. During Winternights in October we will honor Odin.
All kinsmen are encouraged to review the yahoogroup message board for
reminders regarding the guild-work for the fall months.

Blots, Fainings and Things
Wolves' Wod Kindred's observances normally take place on the
second Saturday of each month, except for Midsummer and Yule
which are usually closer to mid-month. We gather at 4p.m. The
faining is usually held after some socializing, with a folk sumbel
and feast to follow. During High Holy Days (Ostara, Midsummer,
Winternights, and Yule, we hold a more formal sumbel after blot.

Study Session
Given the distance many of our kinfolk have to travel, lore study
session, shamanic studies, and/or warrior training begins at 1p.m.,
the Saturday of the faining. Subject to interest and availability, we
hold the Study Session here at the Hof. In the interest of time, long
distance kinfolk are welcome to arrive on Friday night. See the
